Deny connections from certain countries.

Advanced Security Feature Request

Currently, it's possible to allow connections from specified IP addresses or countries. It would be very helpful to allow users to choose which countries to deny connections. We often receive attacks from the same countries (e.g., China, Russia). It might be helpful to block only these countries.

    The reason for my request is because we work with clients who travel all over the world. Therefore, we can't open up only a few countries. However, I would still like to ban those countries that I'm sure aren't needed. It's easier to allow all but those three or four countries than to allow the other 200.

    Hello Daniele,

    From a security point of view, it is recommended to identity the countries from which the connections will come from and add those to the allowed list. As a result, all unauthorized access will be blocked, not juste the ones coming from identified hacking countries.

    The bruteforwe protection is better designed to prevent those kind of attacks without considering any specific location that could be source of threat.
    Is it difficult in your situation to identify the list of countries to allow?
