Redesign Admin Tools

Remote Access Feature Request

I know this may be asking too much. However, I find it absurd that in 2026 we can't have a full-screen admin tool with a more minimalist design. It might not be important for actual use, but it would certainly improve marketability and reliability. It would also be interesting if it were 64-bit and no longer x86. The user experience logic would also need to be revisited. I have a dream: if the Admin Tools could be managed with different user permissions—for example, the Technician can only manage two-factor authentication, the Administrator can do everything, the Consultant can only view...etc.

    Thank you for the proposed design. The overall experience makes sense and is closer to the design implemented in Remote Support. We contently improve the design of our product and will certainly use your mockups when the time for redesigning the AdminTool comes.

    Could you elaborate why it would better to have a x64 AdminTool, rather than the x86 compatible with all architectures ?


    Although it could make sense to implement a role-based permissions feature for the AdminTool, this is a huge topic and we won’t be able to work on it this year. We have added this suggestion as a separate topic on the product’s feedback for the people to vote:

      Thanks for your feedback. I believe an x64 architecture takes better advantage of modern technologies, uses more memory, optimized CPUs, and is more secure and long-lasting. I don't really know the underlying concept of TSplus, and I don't know if these advantages are essential. Even if the technology is moving toward other architectures, such as containers, I believe TSplus should be completely rewritten in that case. Thanks for your consideration. Best regards
