I would add, on the generator side, giving the ability to choose which application server to connect the user to, choosing a custom icon from the .connect file.
On the user side, make the login more modern, with a web-style design, in the user's language, and customizable with a logo.

Good morning,
It's a great idea to offer a more modern and comprehensive interface.
In terms of improvements, here are a few things to think about:
- adapt the interface language to the language of the host operating system.
- disable automatic reconnection of the underlying connection client (mstsc) and handle reconnection by the connection client. This way, depending on the server-side security associated with the connection client (see screenshot), there will be no ‘access denied’.
- simplify modification of a connection client, for example by allowing the Portable Client Generator to open an existing .connect.
- portability to MacOs.
