Remote Support now compatible with FIPS-enabled environments

Remote Support can now run in environments where FIPS mode is enabled, making deployment easier in security-focused infrastructures with stricter cryptographic policies.

The full changelog of the latest release (windows client v4.4.1007.729) can be found below:

Improvements:

  • Windows: Space key is now handled as a keystroke instead of a character input.

  • Web administration: users can now sign in and register with Google, Apple, Microsoft, and GitHub

  • Now compatible with FIPS-enabled environments.

  • Added Japanese and Korean translations

  • Relay: improved client connection drop detection

Fixes:

  • Relay: reduced thread blocking that could freeze the relay under heavy load

  • A client reconnecting after a network drop now resumes its session instead of creating a new one in the reporting

  • Web administration: a client without a user account can no longer open the administration panel nor join a subscription
