Ability to view and terminate active Remote Support sessions

Current issue A Remote Support session may occasionally remain active after the connection has ended. When that session cannot be disconnected manually, it prevents the user from starting a new connection. This can happen when switching between devices or using different network connections. Suggested feature Add a session management page where users or administrators can: View all active sessions associated with a user account See the connected device and session start time Terminate an individual session Terminate all active sessions using a “Disconnect all sessions” button This could work similarly to the session management and “sign out everywhere” features available in Microsoft 365. Benefit This feature would let users quickly recover from blocked or orphaned sessions without waiting for a timeout or contacting technical support.

Greater MFA integration

Per popular demand from our prospects, I believe it would make sense to have the option to integrate MFA into more processes of Remote Support other than logging in. For instance the administrator would be able to set up MFA requests for the agents each time they connect to an end device (or at some lower cadence), force a confirmation every few connections, force a log in every X hours/days etc. This should not be a non-changeable feature, but rather something that the admin can enable and play around with in the settings, especially for those who value multifactor authentication. MFA is included in Remote Support of course, but I believe this could be a better use for it. Cheers!

Focus

When you are connected on a remote, it often requires you to click on the field or location where you need to type. When the same thing is done locally, the focus/typing cursor automatically is active. I’m thinking of when it asks for a login password, for example.

Permission tiers for Remote Support

Hi team, based on a discussion I had with one of our clients I believe it might be interesting to introduce more permission management via user groups. Not only could you allow certain user groups to access only certain computers, but also introduce tiers to permissions. Like tier 1 will have access to everything, tier 2 will only be able to have attended access, tier 3 will only be able to connect, but not import/export files, etc. This should give more flexibility to larger tech teams and organizations. Let me know your thoughts.

Protect unattended access configuration

When Remote Support is deployed on client machines by an external support team, it may be convenient to prevent standard Windows users from enabling / disabling the unattended configuration of Remote Support.

Allways we create a new folder/costumer, adding devices to it, it should not be available to Team "All users"

I explain why. In my case i create “users”, that are not my employes, but they are my costumers, and they use TSPlus Remote Support app to access (only) to their cumputers in the office, from home, or from anywhere else. So, once after create a new folder/costumer this stays available to Team “All Users”, they see also that folder and devices! In this moment, i alert my techniciens to everytime they create a folder/costumer and add devices, to tell me, for that i go to webconsole, uncheck that folder from Team “All Users”, and check it to the group of my Techniciens. A easy way to solve this, is, the folder/costumer devices, should stay with check mark of access/permission, only in the group of the user who create it. Thanks,

Last date/time that device was seen (connected to internet), and the last date/time of our last connection to that device

It would be very useful, to see the last date/time that device was seen (connected to internet) and the last date/time of our last connection to that device

Device creation automation - HTML5 tag

Hi, with the recent addition of the ability to embed the client into a website I wanted to ask about a possible further augment of this. A few of my clients mentioned that with TeamViewer (I think) they are able to embed the client into their website, and whenever the customer downloads the .exe and runs it, the computer ID automatically gets added to their database. Is this something we can do?

Connection allocation per user/team

Hi, would it be possible to allocate a certain number of connections to an agent from inside the admin page? Let’s say a client wants to have 5 agents with 5 connections each, but wants to make sure that some of the agents are not using more than 5 connections by accident, limiting the other agents. Would it therefore be possible to set a connection number limit for users and/or teams? Thanks!

Feature Request - Connection confirmation for end users

Could we add a feature which informs the end user about an incoming connection and shows them a pop-up where they can press Accept/Deny to begin the RS session? I would add this as an optional feature which would be turned off by default, but can be turned on in the settings, as I feel like it is good to have a choice (either run with or without this informative pop-up). I don't know about the programing capabilities of this, but it would be great if you could assign this setting directly to a computer/group, as some agents may have both clients who prefer this feature and some who do not care. I am suggesting this based on quite a lot of feedback from clients asking about this. Their main concern is privacy of their users and avoiding the possibility of their users being surprised by an incoming connection, plus it adds an extra layer of trust for all parties involved.

simultaneous multi-screen display

If the customer has more than one display, there should be the possibility of seeing them all simultaneously (if the agent also has more than 1 display)

Better storage of the customer Remote-ID

In this screen I would like to be able able to save a device of a customer directly before I click on Verbinden. This is really useful to build up a list of customers ids on the fly.

Switch control during a support session

When I connect to a customers screen to do technical support I would like to also be able to dynamically change the direction of the screen sharing and share with the customer my screen to show the customer the contents of my screen. Then I want to be able to change back to seeing the customers screen. This basic function has been available in teamviewer for over 10 years and is really usefull.
